Welcome to Shadow Lake Centre

Since 1965, Shadow Lake Centre has been proudly owned and operated by Community Living Toronto, offering a year-round facility where individuals with special needs can experience the magic of camp. In addition to our summer program, we also provide off-season rental facilities for community groups seeking an inspiring outdoor retreat.

From September to May, Shadow Lake is home to a variety of community groups eager to enjoy our beautiful natural surroundings. Our two fully furnished houses, seven cozy cabins, dining hall, and fully equipped industrial kitchen make us the perfect venue for schools, scouts, guides, yoga retreats, faith groups, and more.

Each summer, Shadow Lake transforms into a lively home-away-from-home for over 500 guests with special needs and around 100 dedicated staff members. Our self-directed summer camp allows campers to choose their own activities, ensuring a personalized adventure for everyone. Parents and caregivers can rest assured knowing their camper is in good hands, ready to make memories that will last a lifetime.
