Summer Camp
🌞🏕️
Experience the Magic of Summer at Shadow Lake Centre!
At Shadow Lake Centre, our Summer Camp is more than just a getaway—it's a vibrant, inclusive community where individuals with intellectual disabilities can explore, grow, and create lifelong memories. For 12 unforgettable weeks, from June through August, campers embark on a journey filled with diverse activities and endless fun, all within a safe and supportive environment.
Each week, Shadow Lake introduces a new theme, ensuring no two experiences are the same. From Sunday to Saturday, campers enjoy various indoor and outdoor activities designed to inspire independence, build friendships, and foster a love for adventure. Imagine the joy of a morning driveway walk, the thrill of a hike through nature, the refreshing splash of a lake swim, or the serenity of a pontoon boat and canoe ride. Evenings come alive with the classic campfires, dance parties, and our always-anticipated talent show—where every camper gets a chance to shine.
Our dedicated staff is the heart of Shadow Lake, providing 24-hour care and support to ensure that each camper feels safe, valued, and empowered. With their unwavering commitment, our campers are free to explore new activities, take on challenges, and celebrate their individuality in an environment that celebrates diversity and promotes inclusivity.
Join us at Shadow Lake Centre for a summer filled with discovery, connection, and joy.
